It’s almost time for the 2nd Major Championship of the year but first we have the 2019 AT&T Byron Nelson. With Bethpage Black looming a lot of guys are taking this week off but we still have a full field. It’s a weaker field overall this week but there’s still plenty of good contests on DraftKings and money to be won. Without peaking ahead to the PGA next week let’s take a deeper look at the 2019 AT&T Byron Nelson.
For the second year in a row Trinity Forest in Dallas,TX will be the host. Last year in it’s inaugural year as host Trinity Forest played pretty easy. In 2018 it ranked as the 46th (out of 51) most difficult course on the Tour. Since the tournament ended last year they have made some changes to the course, mostly lengthening holes. A Par 71, there are some discrepancies going around about just how long the course is going to play this week. I’ve seen everything from 7,300 to almost 7,600 yards but the official Trinity Forest website has the tips playing 7,558 yards (see below). It looks like it might play right around 7,350 yards, similar to last year.
