NFL Week 10 Team Stacks

Week 10 is here!  We are past the halfway point in the season and you can always tell we’ve made it to the back nine when snow and cold weather is starting to get involved.  The game totals are down because of it, as the highest total game on the week is only 51 points!  This opens up a lot of avenues in tournaments and should make for an exciting week of football!

Green Bay Packers vs Miami Dolphins

As a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan I know how important this game is to the team.  After back to back close losses against the best teams in the league with the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots, the Packers finally get a “break” with the Miami Dolphins coming to town.  I do a good job of not targeting this offense when they are in a bad spot despite my fandom, but I’m all in on this offense this week.  We are past the R-E-L-A-X phase and have entered must win territory.  I expect Aaron Rodgers to put on a show.  Rodgers has seen his production dip this season and in my opinion it has to do with the play calling of head coach Mike McCarthy.  McCarthy has heard a lot of criticism lately regarding it, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a trick play or two in this game to open up the offense.  With the trade of Ty Montgomery after the Rams game, Aaron Jones saw a season high in rushing attempts and targets last week.  Jones is cheap across the industry and the Dolphins have allowed the second most yards to opposing running backs this season.  It’s time to fully #FreeAaronJones.  Davante Adams is tied for second in the league in receiving touchdowns with seven as he’s scored in every game except for two this season.  Adams price tag is up there with the highest priced wide receivers on the slate but the Dolphins are 21st in DVOA against WR #1’s this season.  I’ll have plenty of Rodgers #1 target this Sunday.  However, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (MVS) is my favorite wide receiver on the entire slate.  Geronimo Allison has been placed on the IR and Randall Cobb is questionable to play which will allow MVS once again the roll of being the WR #2 for Aaron Rodgers.  The price tag is way too cheap for someone who has either 100 yards or a touchdown in every game since he’s been inserted in the starting lineup.  Jimmy Graham is intriguing in tournaments, but the aforementioned four players will be my focus this week.

Favorite Stack – Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling
