Playoff positioning is in full swing as we only have two regular season games left on the schedule. There is one very popular game which I’ll cover below and a few other spots that I really like teams in. This article will cover four of those teams I’m looking to target this week on DraftKings and FanDuel. Let’s make some money so we can afford those Christmas gifts!
New Orleans Saints vs Pittsburgh Steelers
The best game on the slate is the late hammer with the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers. The total is currently at 53.0 points which is the highest by six points. It will definitely be popular, but for good reason! The Saints currently hold a one game lead and the tie breaker over the Los Angeles Rams for the top seed in the NFC. A win or a Rams loss assures the Saints that top seed. After three straight road games where the Saints went 2-1, they return home where they have won five straight games. The Saints offense is absolutely lethal at home this season. They average 38.0 points per game at home compared to 27.4 points per game on the road. They have scored 40 or more points in four out of their six home games! This explosive offense now gets to face a Steelers team who has lost consecutive road games to the 3-11 Oakland Raiders and 6-8 Denver Broncos. Drew Brees has been untouchable at home. He has thrown for 20 touchdowns and only one interception while recording a 139.1 passer rating. His average depth per target also climbs almost 3 yards. On the road Brees has thrown for 11 touchdowns and four interceptions with a passer rating of 99.3. Still solid, but nothing like him playing at home in the dome. Alvin Kamara’s price has dropped across the industry due to his lack of production. He is still getting the same amount of workload, he just hasn’t been able to capitalize in punching those opportunities into the end zone. He has one touchdown in his last four games. Honestly, the exact same thing can be said about Michael Thomas. Workload is still very strong. He has 36 total targets in his last four games, but hasn’t scored a touchdown in any of those four. Perfect get right spot for this trio. That’s my favorite stack on the slate. As far as who to bring it back from on the Steelers side of the ball. I’ll get to that shortly, but it’s going to 100% be either JuJu Smith-Schuster or Antonio Brown.
Favorite Stack – Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas
Bring it Back – JuJu Smith-Schuster OR Antonio Brown
